Molly

Molly won’t allow herself to go to school today.

She has a lot to say about the world and why it’s gone astray.

And when I ask her to explain, she creases up her brow and tips her head and says,

“there’s something in the air and in the water -something vile and changed. I can see it in their eyes, I can feel it in my bones…”

And then she sadly walks away.

Molly, we miss you so, why did you have to go?

Molly used to sleep beneath the stars without a care, and now she sees only darkness there.

In a world that’s full of light, it’s hard to live at night. I only hope she finds herself again.
